Reiki, universal life energy, is a powerful holistic therapy. Current research strongly supports the ancient belief that life energy flows through all living things. Disruptions and imbalances in this energy flow correlate to physical, mental, and emotional illness. The healing art of Reiki addresses these imbalances to support healing and promote optimum health and well-being. During a session, Reiki energy is channeled through the practitioner to the client. Energy flows where it is needed, restoring, replenishing, and balancing mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual energies to foster deep healing on a mind, body, and soul level.

Individual effects vary from deep relaxation, profound sense of well-being and calm, balance, clarity, strengthened immunity, pain and muscle tension relief, increased rate of recovery from injury/illness, better sleep, reduced blood pressure, reduced anxiety, depression, and stress, increased energy, expanded personal/spiritual growth, emotional release and healing.

Lisa Murphy

Lisa has always been interested in understanding her connection to spirit. Over the past decade, as her spiritual and personal development journey deepened, she began to connect to herself, her experiences, others, and the universe, in a profound way. Through deep personal reflection she worked to heal limiting beliefs, stories, unhealthy patterns and fears so that she could step forward authentically in her truth as a light worker committed to raising the collective vibration. Lisa was attuned as a Level 3 Usui Reiki Master in 2018. Lisa believes true healing, balance, and wholeness is achieved by treating the entire individual on a mind, body, and soul level, and that issues in our lives are correlated to imbalances in our energy field. A Reiki session with Lisa is dependent highly on intuition. Lisa incorporates crystals, sound, visualization, essential oils, and oracle cards into her practice. Lisa’s intention is to share information gained through the session during discussion, to empower your understanding of self on an energetic level. She is committed to providing tools for you to implement outside of the session empowering you to be the most vibrant version of you. Whether you are looking to address a specific concern or are content and well but eager for more, Lisa welcomes the opportunity to hold space for you and to earn your trust. Lisa is aligned with her soul mission and shows up passionately to help others live more confidently, inspired, empowered, joyful, and balanced. Lisa is committed to walking with you as you gain confirmation and confidence in your personal power as a deliberate creator of your own life.

Lisa also coaches chakra introduction, the law of attraction, and powerful tools including affirmations and vision boards through passionately designed transformative workshops.

The Dirty Dozen and The Clean Fifteen!

Many people don’t realize that pesticide residues are common on conventionally grown produce even after it is carefully washed or peeled! The Environmental Working Group evaluated thousands of samples of produce for the presence of different pesticides and pesticide breakdowns and found there are significant differences among various types of produce.

They developed a guide to help you including the Dirty Dozen (the fruits and vegetables with the most pesticide residues) and the Clean Fifteen (few, if any residues were detected).

You should always try to eat fruits and veggies that are organic but when buying organic produce isn’t an option, this guide can help you choose which produce to buy organic or avoid and which is safe, to ensure you are having all the benefits of a diet rich in fruits and veggies while still limiting your exposure!

How to do it:

Eat all of your daily calories within a shortened window of 6-8 hours and then fast for the remaining 14-16 hours. You can do this every day or a few times per week. I stop eating around 6pm after my dinner meal and I don’t eat again until around 11am the next morning. I do have my coffee with coconut oil in the mornings. You can adjust your hours according to what works best for your lifestyle.

- lowers bad cholesterol
- promotes longevity
- improves memory and boosts brain function
- makes cells more resilient and promotes cellular repair

Remember that intermittent fasting may not be for you. If you find yourself starving or having low energy in the mornings doing intermittent fasting or if you find that you are eating much more food or making unhealthy choices when you do eat, this method might not be best for you. People with low blood sugar, gallstones or are pregnant should avoid IF. Always consult with your doctor before implementing IF into your routine. 👩‍⚕️
